***Ty’s
always fun to ask questions. Here’s Twenty-five with Ty, my hero from my new
release, Complete Me.
He told me I wasn’t allowed to look at his answers. Now I’m worried.***
1. How did you first meet your writer?
I
came to her through a dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeam *makes wiggly fingers*. I was
dressed as Jared Padalecki with a lip ring. Clever, right?
2. Did you ever think that your life
would end up being in a book?
NOPE.
It still kinda freaks me out. Claire’s cool with everything because, hey, she
does this for a living. Me? Never thought about it.
3. What are your favorite scenes in
your book: the action, the dialog or the romance?
Heh.
I’d like to say the action, but Claire’ll be embarrassed to death, so I’m gonna
go with the dialog. It was awesome to connect with Claire in more than just a
physical way.
4. Did you have a hard time convincing
your author to write any particular scenes for you?
She
TOTALLY changed one of the…um…“more intimate scenes.” *The air quotes are
important, you know.* I mean, I’m still cool with how things went down, but you
know. I just like to know what’s going on.
5. Do you infiltrate your writer’s
dreams?
Just
that once. Apparently once was enough for her.
6. What do you like to do when you are
not being actively read somewhere?
Jam
on the porch of my ocean-view beach house while Claire’s either reading or
working on her laptop.
7. Are you happy with the genre your
writer has placed you in?
Who
wouldn’t be??? I mean, come on. My woman’s sexy as hell.
8. If you could rewrite anything in
your book, what would it be?
Jocelyn
would not exist. You guys will understand.
9. Do you like the way the book ended?
Hell
yeah! I got my dream woman and got a killer song out of it. What’s not to like?
10. Would
you be interested in a sequel, if your writer was so inclined?
I
think she’s plotting something…. It’s hard to tell with her. Mind’s all over
the place.
11. What
is your least favorite characteristic your writer has attributed to you?
*scratches
back of neck* She made me look kinda whipped. Which I guess I was, but still. I don’t wanna be that guy.
12.
Do
have any secret aspirations that your author doesn’t know about?
Um,
yeah… She kinda doesn’t know that I’m trying to get a band together. Please don’t
tell her?
13. What do you do for a living?
*in
a huff* I write songs for Sleeping Angels. That stupid British boy band full of
punks.
14.
What is your greatest fear?
Never getting on stage again and losing Claire
are both tied for first place in the Ty’s Worst Nightmares competition.
15. What do you wear when you go to sleep?
*clears
throat* Claire….
16. What is your most prized possession?
My
1964 Gibson Les Paul SG, signed by Eric Clapton. Same model he played when he
was in Cream. I actually met him at the Grammys one year when those little
bastards—I mean, when Sleeping Angels was up for Best Pop Group, Best Song, and
Album of the Year. They won all three categories. I have Grammys on my mantle.
I still consider that guitar the greatest thing I own.
17. What
do you like most about where you live?
I
have my own private beach. You don’t get better than that.
18. What’s
your favorite thing to do on a rainy Sunday?
Sit
inside with my acoustic and play along with the rain.
19. What
is your vivid memory of your mother and father?
They’re
the reason I love music so much. We’d sit around and listen to records every
Sunday night after supper. The first time they played me Aerosmith’s Live! Bootleg, I knew I wanted to be a
musician. Then when my dad took me to see them play when I was twelve, I knew I
had to be a musician. Without them,
I’d be something boring.
20. What
turns you on?
Music
appreciation. I can’t help myself. If someone loves music, I’m hooked.
21. What
turns you off?
Not
liking music or just listening to one genre. I’m a rocker, but I listen to
everything from classical to blues to bluegrass. You gotta expand your
horizons, man.
22.
What
sound or noise do you love?
Claire’s
laugh. It’s like magic.
23.
What
sound or noise do you hate?
Anything
out of tune. I always know. Even if something’s just slightly out of tune, I
know, and it’s like nails on a chalkboard.
24. What other profession would you like to
try?
I
kinda wanted to be a pilot, but I don’t think anyone wants to trust me with a
plane full of people.
25. What would you not like to do?
Anything
that would require me being in a cubicle. No freaking way.
*Still not looking at
the answers.* I really hope he behaved. It’s hard to tell when musicians give
interviews.
To celebrate Complete Me’s release, I’m having a
pretty sweet giveaway—$25 iTunes gift card, free copy of the book, and a Complete Me-inspired t-shirt! Entry form
is below the blurb.

A rock star who needs to let go….
The past has a chokehold on former rock star Ty Krause. Instead of killer tunes, he kills time writing passable songs for a British boy band and his nights wishing he had the balls to say goodbye. In a last ditch effort, he signs up for 1Night Stand, thinking that a night of no-strings-attached sex will help him break the leash of his past.

From the moment Claire and Ty meet, sparks fly—but can they
overcome their pasts or will their potential love story end on a sour
note?
