**Welcome,
so great to have you here with us. Can
you tell us a little about yourself?
I’m
just another writer/reader who spoils her dog and avoids housework at all
costs. Ideally, someday, I’ll learn to cook and read all the stop adding books
to my ‘to-read’ list.
**Do
real life events find their way into your stories?
Not
exactly… occasionally conversations I overhear and people’s dispositions end up
in my work, but it usually isn’t intentional.
**Do
you ever mimic family members or people you know when you choose characters?
Nope.
I think that would make for too much awkwardness.
**Do
you find yourself going back to the same inspiration for each story or is it
always something different?
Sort
of. I often go back to the same bands for inspirations—but never the same
albums. I do my best to avoid repetition.
**When
do you write? Early morning? During the
day sometime or all day? After the kids
go to bed?
Whenever
the mood strikes. My routine varies from week to week, but as long as I make my
daily word count I’m happy.
**Is
there any other genre that you would love to try writing? If so, what is it?
I
wrote a creative memoir as part of my master’s thesis. Doing something like
that again might be a lot of fun, though I know the genre isn’t very big right
now.
**Do
you always/ever see yourself as the heroine/hero when you write a story?
Um…
Always. ;)
**Just
