Author, author...

...read all about it !

We are the next stop on the blog tour for ....

Welcome Tamaria, great to have you with us today.  Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I’m a stay-at home mom of two young girls.

What did you want to be when you were growing up or did you always want to be a writer?

LOL, growing up daily what I wanted to be changed from moment to moment!

When did you first start writing?

I’ve dabbled in writing here and there as a teenager, but I started writing stories about 3 years ago.

What is a typical writing day like for you?

I don’t really have one. I have two young girls so it’s hit and miss most days.

Do you have an specific routine you follow or specific items you need with you when you write?

No, it’s sporadic at best. I can write with a 3year old on my lap and Dora playing in the background.

What is your favorite part of writing?  Is there anything you don’t like about being a writer?

My favorite part is creating the characters and the story I’m going to put them in. What I don’t like is all the proofing and editing!

What is your favorite length of book to write?  (Short story, novella, full length novel) Why?

Short Stories and Novellas. I guess I’m just not long winded. I like to spin a short sexy story with a ‘happily ever after’!

How does your family feel about your writing and you being an author?

That’s a laded question. Some are happy and even proud of me. I come from a very religious background so I have a few in my family that are very unhappy that I write steamy romances.

Is there a to-be-read waiting on your bedside table?

My Kindle is fully loaded and I do read every night!

For fun, I have a few personal questions,

Favorite 5

1)  Favorite Holiday - Christmas
2) Favorite Drink -  Vodka/Tonic
3) Favorite Author – Danielle Steele
4) Favorite Book – That’s a hard one. It changes almost daily.
5) Favorite Animal - Panther

And for a bonus:  What is a typical mood for you?  And is your mood different when you’re writing?

LOL… my mood is always exhausted!  I’m always in a good mood when I write. I love to escape into my stories and let my characters take over and guide me.

Is there an upcoming or current release you would like to share with us today and where can we find it?

At Sunset
(Weekend Getaways)

Can a day at a beach lead to passion when the sun goes down?

Two women, Myrtle Beach, sexy lifeguards—what more could a girl ask for?

Kimberly doesn't believe she could attract the handsome lifeguard sitting on the stand keeping a keen eye on the beach patrons. Muscular, lean and sexy, surely he's not looking at her, but when a beach accident brings them eye-to-eye, she finds herself lost in his gaze.

Daniel works everyday watching the beach-goers, keeping an eagle eye out for problems along the white sandy shores. Sexy women capture his attention on a daily basis, but no one grabs him like Kimberly. Gorgeous and curvy in all the right places, he can't seem to keep his mind on the business at hand as she tans herself in the hot summer sun.

Can the pain of past relationships be overcome for two strangers to find love at Sunset?

Now before we let you get away today, do you have a favorite recipe you'd like to share?  I like to cook and am always looking for new recipes to try and share but it's totally up to you.

I make killer homemade Tequila Rose

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups sweetened condensed milk 1 cup cream 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/4 cup strawberry syrup 1/2 cup tequila (your preference)  I use white and I add a tad more ;).

All measurements are a starting point. If it needs more or less of something then adjust as needed.
Directions: 1 Measure all ingredients into a blender. 2 Blend until mixed and smooth. Store in refrigerator for a week. So it can blend. 3 I think, like the homemade Bailey's recipes, likely keeping chilled a week will allow the flavors to blend.

When ready pour over ice and enjoy!!!

Servings: about 6
